Preparing to Leave & Staying Healthy

It's a bit of a dreary day. It's a bit rainy and still cold. I do love seeing the Spring flowers though. They provide a bit of comfort in these challenging times. These sightings certainly remind us that life does go on; even in these crazy times.

So, Brent and I are continue to plan for our year off. Obviously, we don't know what it is going to look like right now, but we are taking one day at a time. We will cross that bridge in a couple of months. Currently, we continue to virtually work and pack up what we can. It's too bad that Goodwill, Salvation Army and places like this are closed up because I still have a few things to drop off. I'll hold on to our stuff until I can donate them again. All of our furniture has been spoken for by family or friends. In late June, we'll get a moving truck to disperse everything. Even though we've moved numerous times together, it's always a lot of work and planning.

Even though our gyms are closed and we have returned from the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, we've been spending as much time outside as possible. I am so thankful that we have to walk Jilly. She keeps us walking a few kilometres a day.

Both of us continue to exercise at home too. I do yoga, light weights and an exercise routine called Tabata. I can post more on that later. For now, the following is our most current You Tube video on our Channel. It focuses on Brent's workout routine. It's something that can be done without weights and little equipment. Hopefully, you get a kick out of the video. You can tell we certainly don't take ourselves too seriously. Life is too short for that.
