Jaco, Costa Rica
Jaco is a great little stop if you are heading further south to the Osa Peninsula. A beautiful beach and some good food.
Driving Montezuma & Santa Teresa / Costa Rica
Montezuma, Santa Teresa and Nosara are must visits, even though they are hard to reach. Remember, don’t drive the rental car through streams and rivers!
Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Tamarindo, Costa Rica is where the tourists go when they have a short amount of time. Ours was a short visit, but so great!
Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica
Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica is a true hippy town. Not many go to these parts but rather stay on the Pacific side. Come here for a little Caribbean action.
Arriving in Costa Rica
One must visit La Fortuna and the volcanoes in the area. Lots of hiking and kiteboarding too.
Kelowna, BC, Canada…and Beyond!
We ended our Canadian drive in Kelowna just before Christmas. Kelowna is a beautiful city in British Columbia that is worth the visit. Lots of seasonal activities, including hiking, biking and skiing, and wine tours.
