I know it’s a hike, but Blue River and Wells Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada, are by far my most favourite places so far on our trip.

We head to the Kootenay Mountains, British Columbia, Canada for a little reprieve after putting down our sweet dog, Jill, at 12.5 years. She was a trooper and had the best life ever. She’ll join our other two in doggy heaven!

Whistler, British Columbia, Canada is a must visit in all seasons; but you have to be willing to open up your pocketbook. A ferry ride to Vancouver Island is well worth it and if you do go, head to Tofino in the summer. Book ahead!

Who said the Prairie provinces were boring! Almost every Canadian that’s who, but, I love them anyway. Long stretches of beauty.

Ontario, Canada, is a huge province taking three days to get from Toronto to the Manitoba border when the US border crossing isn’t open. But, you won’t regret the drive! Don’t drive at night.

Our trip has just begun and we love this area of Ontario, Canada. Lots of outdoors activities in the area and historic arts along the way as this was the Group of Seven stomping grounds.

Finally. The day has come after years of planning. We’ve sold our house, bought an 18 foot travel trailer and we hit the road full-time starting in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
